Kick-off ceremony of the exchanging forestation program between Aeon Group (Japan) and Thua Thien Hue Province

Updated 9/19/2012 PrintrnrnIn the morning of September 16, the kick-off ceremony of the exchanging forestation program between Aeon Group (Japan) and Thua Thien Hue Province took place in Lang Co Beach Resort with the participation of over 400 people from Aeon Group, Japanese and Thua Thien Hue volunteers.rnrnThe exchanging forestation project between Thua Thien Hue Province and Aeon Group has been implemented since 2010 and expected to last three years. Until now, about 64,000 trees have been planted by over 1,000 Japanese and Thua Thien Hue volunteers. This year, 2,000 trees have been planted by over 400 Japanese and Thua Thien Hue volunteers. In the final year of this project, 6,000 trees will be planted to increase total trees of the project up to 70,000.rnrnAfter the ceremony, over 400 participants (including 170 Aeon Group’s officers and Japanese volunteers) digged and planted trees by themselves at the sub-area 242 in Lap An Lagoon.
