20 Hue University freshmen receive VietSeeds – Hue scholarship

On October 2nd, VietSeeds – Hue scholarships were awarded to 20 Hue University freshmen. Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province Phan Thien Dinh attended the awards ceremony.

At the ceremony, the representative of Hue University and VietSeeds Scholarship awarded the scholarship certificates to 20 freshmen studying in various majors of Hue University such as pharmaceutical, tourism, information technology, foreign language, ect. Accordingly, they are first 20 VietSeeds scholarship-winners.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan Thien Dinh hoped that VietSeeds Scholarship will successfully educate individuals who are not only well-qualified but also desirous of contributing to the development of Vietnam in general and Thua Thien Hue province in particular. Besides, Vice Chairman expected that these freshmen would later support next generations of VietSeeds scholarship recipients.
On this occasion, VietSeeds Scholarship introduced its motto and mission. Following “Grow A Seed – Change A Life – Transform A Nation” motto, it aims to bring all Vietnamese students regardless of background an equal access to education. VietSeeds is a comprehensive scholarship which provides financial support, mentoring, training and career guidance.
