Updated 2/3/2015 PrintrnrnThe 2015 Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival took place at the provincial Centre of Culture and Information on January 31. Outstanding businesses of Thua Thien Hue Province in 2014 were honored at the festival. This is the first event of a series of culture, sports, and tourism activities in 2015 of Thua Thien Hue.rnrnWith the theme “For the development of Thua Thien Hue tourism”, street performances involving over 1,200 people kick-started the Festival. The performances were followed by a special art show which revived cultural values of the Ancient Capital of Hue. Taking this opportunity, the Organizing Committee honored tourism businesses for their positive contributions to tourism industry and the provincial socio-economic development.rnrnIn the two nights of January 31 and February 1, there will be a fashion show entitled “Hue in different periods” and lots of community activities aiming at reviving a miniature village with farming activities, folk games and Hue’s special dishes.
