On November 26th, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho hosted a reception for Mr. William R. Lee, Chairman of SW Group Holdings (South Korea). On this visit, SW Group Holdings would like to research investment opportunity in Thua Thien Hue province.
At the reception, Mr. William R. Lee kindly introduced about SW Group Holdings. Accordingly, SW Group Holdings operates in various fields such as culture, information technology, technology innovation and clean energy. Besides, it also participates in commercial investment, electronic trading platform and Logistic in South Korea. Having researched, SW Group Holdings wished to invest in traditional shopping centers serving tourism, clean energy by producing solar energy panels; establish cooperation relation in Thua Thien Hue strong fields; support start-up companies.
Speaking at the reception, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho warmly welcomed SW Group Holdings to research investment opportunity in Thua Thien Hue province. Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho highly appreciated SW Group Holdings suggestion on supporting start-up enterprises in province. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho kindly informed that Thua Thien Hue is focusing on attracting investment in local potential fields and strengths. Of all, the priority is given to 2 main fields i.e. heritage-based tourism investment and information technology. This aims to promote human resources and establish information technology zone in line with the development orientation of the fourth Industrial Revolution.
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho emphasized that proposed investment ideas are appropriate to local fields calling for investment. Department of Investment and Planning will support SW Group Holdings during searching as well as building investment programs and projects in the coming time.
