On August 23, 2019, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province passed the Decision No. 2033/QD-UBND approving the non-refundable project on “Building 20 biogas plants for 20 households in Quang An commune, Quang Phuoc commune, Quang Thai commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province sponsored by Bretagne Vietnam Association (France). Total project’s grant is USD 14.426 (VND 331.800.000).
The project aims to make use of livestock wastes, contribute to environmental improvement and household economy, enhance project management capacity for district-level, commune-level staff and raise public awareness of environmental protection.
During 03 months from August 2019 to October 2019, the project shall build 20 biogas plants, prepare 20 beneficiary households with the knowledge of running biogas plant, etc.
The People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province assigned the People’s Committee of Quang Dien district to receive and implement the project as regulated.
