On August 12th, the XII Sales Promotion Month 2018 was launched at Thuong Bac Park by Department of Industry and Trade.
According to Industry and Trade Department, the XII Sales Promotion Month 2018 will be held from 1st – 31st August, 2018 with various activities such as encouraging businessmen, advertising promotion programs and responding to “Vietnamese give priority to Vietnamese goods” campaign, organizing 3 market sessions to introduce Vietnamese products in rural and mountainous areas. On this occasion, Hue Promotion Fair 2018 was also launched. Being held from August 12th to August 18th with 200 booths, Hue Promotion Fair 2018 introduced 20.000 electronic products, household appliances, consumer goods, specialties, etc.
As informed by Mr. Nguyen Thanh, 5.057 promotion programs (VND 2.088 billion) from 330 internal and external businesses were recorded this year. Of all, Sales Promotion Month 2018 brought together over 900 promotion programs from 172 businesses such as the branch of The Gioi Di Dong Joint Stock Company, Big C supermarket, Coop Mart Supermarket, Thua Thien Hue VNPT Sales Center, etc.
Goods on sale are household appliances, textile, fashionable products, refrigeration products, cosmetic, beverage, etc. Many attractive promotion forms were applied such as discount, coupon, giveaway etc.
